Azeri Armed Forces Assistance Fund receives AZN 2 851 000 and $59 200

The assistance Fund for Azerbaijani Armed Forces was established with President's decree on August 17, 2002.

According to the regulations of the Assistance Fund for Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the granted money is spent on improving maintenance of the Armed Forces, making, experimenting and modernizing military products, purchase of military equipment, weapons, training military personnel as well as solving social and private problems of servicemen, Defense Ministry told the APA.
