5 500 tonnes of fuel saved in thermal power plants in Sept

Fuel consumption for electricity generation was 371.51 gram/kilowatt/h against 375.33 in the thermal power plants in Azerbaijan during September.

Azerenergy chief engineer Fazail Suleymanova said 5 500 tonnes of fuel were economized on during this period.

During the past nine months of the year the fuel consumption decreased by 9.8 grams per KW and that is to say 144 300 tonnes of fuel were economized on as against the same period of last year. APA
