Interior Minister meets Russian Ambassador

"Interior ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia have close professional ties and fruitful cooperation that is fully in line with political courses pursued by the two countries' leaders," the Minister said.

He informed Ambassador Istratov on the crime situation in Azerbaijan noting interaction between the ministries very positively influence combating crime and ensuring security in both countries.

Importance to expand bilateral cooperation in training of skilled personnel for local law enforcement bodies, information exchange and a number of other areas was pointed out during the talks, as well.
