OSCE mission to visit Azerbaijan

Mr.Haraszti will have talks with state and government officials in Azerbaijan, head of the OSCE Office in Baku Mauricio Pavesi told the APA exclusively.

"Azerbaijani legislation has some shortfalls regarding stopping prosecution of journalists. A number of countries, including Georgia are working out a new legislation in this connection. Mr.Haraszti will discuss these issues with the authorities," Mr.Pavesi said.

The OSCE Representative will also discuss the situation of the media with media authorities and parliament representatives in Azerbaijan.
