Emergencies Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov receives Korean charge d'affaires

Minister Heydarov touched on Azerbaijan's progress in socio-economic development as well as the large-scale energy and transport projects implemented by Azerbaijan in the region.

Reminding Korean President Roh Moo-hyun's visit in Azerbaijan in May this year at President Ilham Aliyev's invitation, Mr.Heydarov said this visit gave impetus to strengthening of relations in all spheres approving the MOU on cooperation in building sphere between Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry and Korean Building and Transport Ministry.

Korean charge d'affaires Lyu Kvang Chu highly appreciated the measures for enhancing friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Korea following President Roh Moo-hyun's visit reporting that a large delegation representing different spheres will arrive in Azerbaijan soon.

Mr. Kvang Chu also touched on further prospects of cooperation with Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry not only in building sphere but also in emergency situations, APA reports.
