Azerbaijani National Hemophilia Committee established

ARAH chairwoman Gulnara Huseynova stated that there are about 2000 hemophiliacs in Azerbaijan now. As from this year, 800 000 euros were allocated to supply hemophiliacs with vital medications such as VII and IX factors.

First party of the medicines has already been brought to Azerbaijan, APA informs.

She also said that the Committee has been set up to supervise the quality, expiry date of coagulants as well as to provide every hemophiliac with medicines, to control distribution of medications.

The committee was composed of physicians, MPs, Mass Media and public figures.
Any person can join the committee and take active part in the activity of the committee.
