Azerbaijani students demand official Tehran to halt relations with Armenia

Azerbaijani students of Zenjan University in Iran, who were protesting against the "Iran" newspaper publicizing caricature insulting Azerbaijanis, today appealed to the official Tehran to break up relations with Armenia.

As APA informs, the protesters demanding restoration of national rights said they accept the publication of caricature by the newspaper as the position of official Iran. The students call on their mates to stage protest action in the entire South Azerbaijan.

The building of the "Iran" newspaper was attacked by unidentified persons yesterday, the attackers attempted to burn the building.
