As APA reports, Ms. Abbaszade expressed her dissatisfaction with the books translated by the Education Ministry and publicized the errors in the books in order not to prevent the students from confession.
"We don't include some books in the list of books which are used in preparation of entrance exam questions. We gave information about these books in 1st issue of “Abituriyent” journal. We advise the applicants to use the old text books as translation of the new books is in bad condition."
Ms. Abbaszade is also displeased with translation of literature of Azerbaijan to Russian. Students going to Russian-language schools are Azerbaijanis as well. Condition of these books has bad influence on students about our literature.
They should take it into consideration that books translated into Russian can be used not only in Azerbaijan but also in CIS countries.
Just imagine that Russian pupil reads this book, what will he think of our literature? She/he thinks that teachers, experts who translate and compile the textbooks shouldn't do this work for the sake of being its author.
"This process should be transparent. The World Bank allocated lots of grants to this process. Are these textbooks fruits of these grants?"
Ms. Abbaszade thinks that international experience should be taken into consideration in preparation of textbooks of History, Geography, Social subjects and literature.
"The context of the books should be from our viewpoint. We should have concepts for every individual subject."
