New Head of Azercell appointed

As APA informs, the fourth president of Azercell is the former Head of Moldovacell (the cellular communication operator of Moldova) Halim Atesh.

The former Head of Azercell Serdar Janoghullari, who had been the director of the Company since 2003, was sent to Kazakhstan. He will head the K-Cell operator of Kazakhstan. According to the information, Mr.Atesh is expected to hold first press-conference as the Head of Azercell at the beginning of the next month.

Azercell Telecom JV has been operating since 1996. By the beginning of March of this year, Azercell had over 1.8 mn subscribers. The Company has been headed by the four presidents so far.
