Construction of factory for production of flying cars began in China

The Chinese company XPeng has begun construction of a factory for the production of flying cars in the southern province of Guangzhou, Azernews reports.

This will be the first large-scale production in the world. At the first stage, a flying module for Land Aircraft Carrier (LAC) machines will be produced. The plant will be able to produce about 10,000 such modules per year.

The LAC module will be presented at the Airshow China exhibition. The event will be held from November 12th to 17th. The flying module is expected to make its first public flight there.

Guangzhou City authorities plan to invest 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) in the development of infrastructure for flying cars by 2027.
