SOCAR commissions 4 new wells

In the 1st quarter Bibieybat OGPU of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 31,690 tons of oil with forecasted 30,650 tons of oil.

As Trend reports, OGPU extracted 4,495,000 cu m of gas against forecasted 4,210,000 cu m over 3 months of 2006.

In March OGPU extracted 10,881 tons of oil. The daily oil extraction from the fields developing by OGPU comprised 351 tons.

Over this period one drilled well was put into exploitation. Its daily debit is equal to 4 tons. Besides, 3 wells were commissioned from the fund of idle wells.
