Azeri Ombudsman to attend extraordinary meeting of European Ombudsmen

Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, will participate in an extraordinary meeting of the Institute of European Ombudsmen due in Innsburg on April 1.

The meeting envisages injection of some changes to the Charter of the Institute of European Ombudsmen, the Ombudsman's Office told Trend.

During the meeting the participants will also consider an issue on adoption of a protocol, hear a report by the chairman, and discuss admission of new embers.

The gathering will also analyze the sate of human rights protection in the European countries.
