President Aliyev approved regulations on Battle Flag of MNS Academy

The decree reflects the measures and symbols of the battle flag of the Academy of MNS, APA was informed about it from the press-service of the President.

According to the decree, the Battle Flag consists of two-sided red calico, wooden handle and tasseled lace. Material of the flag is rectangular with 114 cm of width and 145 cm of length.

The flag was made of tricolor silk cloth in accordance with the colors of the State Flag.

On the front side of the cloth there is a crescent (height 38 cm) and an octahedral star (height 20 cm) made of white silk thread in the middle of the red strip, and a golden slogan "FOR AZERBAIJAN!" made of golden silk thread in the blue strip.

Height of the letters of the text is 6.5 cm and width is 5 cm.

On the backside of the cloth there is an emblem of the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan Republic (height 54 cm) in the middle of the red strip.

"THE HEYDAR ALIYEV ACADEMY OF THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL SECURITY" words were written with golden silk thread in the blue strip. Height of the letters of the text is 6 cm and width is 5 cm.

The number and name of the Academy named after Heydar Aliyev of the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan Republic were written with golden silk thread in the green strip Height of numbers in the text is 7 cm, width is 4.5 cm, height of the letters is 5 cm and width 4.5 cm.

The handle of the flag was made of wood with diameter of 4 cm and length of 250 cm. The wooden handle is brown-colored and lacquered.

The lace of the flag was made of golden silk and there are tassels on both ends of the flag. Length of the lace is 270-285 cm.

Besides, the President Ilham Aliyev also approved regulations on the Battle Flag of the Academy of MNS.

According to regulations, the Battle Flag is a symbol of military honor, courage and fame. The battle flag remains in the Academy forever, independent of changing of its name of number. During military operations the flag must be in the battlefield.
