President received WIPO delegation

As Trend reports, the Head of the State assessed the recently signed agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan and WIPO as a serious step. "For long years our country lived under another system, the property on the whole was not appreciated, there was only the state property and everything subordinated to the state. Azerbaijan is currently independent, the county is developing based on the market economy principles", the President said.

WIPO Director General Kamil Idris noted the necessity to fulfill all requirements stipulated by the document signed to serve the interests of the country, people and the government.

Ilham Aliyev voiced confidence that the document would serve fot cooperation within the strong legal framework.
