SANAM activist Davud Azimzadeh arrested in Maragha today

Southern Azerbaijan National Awakening Movement (SANAM) activist Davud Azimzadeh was arrested by the officials of Iranian special service bodies in Maragha.

According to APA, D.Azimzadeh was detained while going to school where he works as a teacher and taken to the department of ETTEELAT in Maragha. D.Azimzade’s family gave information to SANAM that when they appealed to the department on the issue, they was told that D.Azimzadeh is not in the department. His family worries about him. Organization of SANAM in Maragha held a gathering today and issued a statement condemning the happening.

It should be noted that another activist of the movement Yashar Hakkakpur was also arrested by ETTEELAT two days before.
