On January 20 Neftchi FC to play against Armenian Pyunik

Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor today was defeated by Neftchi FC. The game finished regulation time at a tie 0-0. With no extra-time, it went to penalties. And then came a time of Neftchi's keeper who denied two shots from Pakhtakor's players. After all the score was 4-2 and Azeri club reach the semi-final.

On January 20 our club will meet Pyunik from Armenia in the semi-final. It has to be reminded that one year ago during the Commonwealth Cup 2005 our champ defeated the same club from Armenia in very emotional game and the score was 2-0.

Unfortunately it's still not known if any TV channel is going to broadcast the game.
