Societe Generale appoints new regional representative in Azerbaijan

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (Societe Generale) announced that Mrs. Teyba Gouliyeva has been appointed as Regional Representative in Azerbaijan, Societe Generale announced.
Societe Generale has been present in Azerbaijan since 1998 through its regional representative office covering Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan. The bank has been successfully involved in the major strategic projects in Azerbaijan and has a strong commitment to continue its investments to the country.

Among the projects are: our participation in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Fullfield development where Societe Generale is acting as Mandated Lead-Arranger and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline, Societe Generale is aJoint Lead-Arranger for 570 MW Sumgait Power Plant.

Teyba Gouliyeva has been working as the Deputy Representative in Azerbaijan since 2002. She has 13 years of extensive banking experience. Before joining Societe Generale, she has worked at IBA in Trade Finance department and at HSBC Baku office in various managerial positions. The current Regional Representative, Mr. Ljubomir Aksentijevic, has completed his term in November 2005.
