AzTV limits paid broadcast time for candidates to three minutes

All of paid air time till November 5 of the “Azerbaijan Television and Radio Telecasts” Closed Joint-Stock Company reserved for Parliamentary candidates has been distributed informed the director of the department of the TV company Rafig Karimov.

Karimov says that the channel scheduled 2 hours of broadcast time solely for candidates including paid and free time. The AzTV Company signed a contact designating 3 minutes of air time to each candidate so that each of them received equal share of the broadcast time.

Karimov informed that since it is impossible to deliver any speech during this period, the TV channel will broadcast candidate’s trailers
