Ilham Aliyev received chairman of Armed Forces Staff of Qatar

The head of the state expressed his confidence that the delegation’s visit to our country will be successful and efficient and will give a gift to the much more development of relations between our countries. Reminding that, he conducted meetings with Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Caliph Al Tani and other officiate persons during his visit to Qatar, President stated that, the issues of cooperation in political, economical and other spheres between Azerbaijan and Qatar were discussed in the atmosphere of mutual understanding during these meetings. Stating that, there were discussions concerning opening the embassy of our republic in Qatar during the visit, Ilham Aliyev said that authority of Azerbaijan adopted decision on opening Embassy in Doha.

Colonel-general Hamad Bin Ali al-Atiyya conveyed the greetings of Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Caliph Al Tani and successor prince sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Tani to President Ilham Aliyev. Emphasizing that, Amir and successor prince said of the relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar to develop successfully, the guest stressed that he has visited Baku namely by their order. He noted successful cooperation and mutual visits were realized with Defense Ministry.
