Azerbaijani metallurgical company interested in two Iranian projects

Baku Steel Company of Azerbaijan will invest in Iran’s steel industry, Mehdi Karbasian, Iranian deputy minister of industry, mines and trade exclusively told Trend.

Karbasian said that during his visit to Baku, he met many Azerbaijani officials – Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, as well as the management of Baku Steel Company and other private companies.

He said the Baku Steel Company is interested in two projects in Iran and this company’s representatives will visit the country soon to start talks.

“Two Azerbaijani delegations will visit Iran in the near future,” said Karbasian. “One of these delegations will include the private company representatives, while the other one will consist of representatives of Azerbaijan’s Industry Ministry,” he added.
