Iran invents new invisible ink technology

Iran has presented a new invisible ink technology that could be used for military and security purposes, ISNA reported.

At the 18th "Elecomp" electronics and e-commerce exhibition in Iran, the CEO of Iranian cartridge manufacturing company "Sakht System", Alireza Kamkar spoke of the new invention.

"By combining two technologies into one unique technology, we were able to create an invisible ink cartridge, and patent it," Kamkar said on the sidelines of the exhibition.

According to him, the new invention has received approval of Iran's Sharif university, and got the patent officially registered in Iran.

Without disclosing the details of the new invention, Kamkar said the both text and images could be printed with this new kind of ink.

Kamkar said that the company is currently looking for clients, also noting that there is potential for mass production of such invisible ink cartridges in the future.

"Sakht System" is Iranian cartridge manufacturer with international standards in the Middle East. The company also does printer-repair related works.
