Erdogan will answer questions from Parliament’s Commission

16 November 2012 [13:30] - TODAY.AZ
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will answer the questions from Parliament’s Coups and Military Memorandums Inquiry Commission in written form due to his intense agenda, Commission spokesperson Idris Sahin announced late on Wednesday.

The announcement came in a written statement from Sahin, the Cank?r? deputy of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). “After talks conducted by the Prime Ministry, it has been reported that the prime minister will be able to respond to the questions posed by our commission in written form, due to the intensity of his agenda and his overseas programs and also because the Commission’s working hours are limited,” Sahin said. The parliamentary panel established to look into military coups and memorandums invited Erdogan to testify about the 1997 post-modern military coup, the 2007 “e-memorandum” and the much-speculated Dolmabahce meeting of 2007. Information will be conveyed to Commission members in order for them to have their questions prepared by Nov. 16,
