Azerbaijan wins two gold at World Championship

Azerbaijan gained second gold of the day after Greco-roman wrestler Jeyhun Aliyev weighing in at 66 kg defeated Russian Magomed Chukhalov in the final of the world championship in Pattaya, Thailand.

On the way to the final, Aliyev beat German Marc-Antonio von Tugginer, Iranian Mehdi Chooli Zeidvand, Egyptian Karim Havvasha and Hungarian David Feher.

Young Azerbaijani Greco-roman wrestler Eldaniz Azizli weighing in at 55 kg has won gold medal in the world championship in Pattaya, Thailand, after beating Moldovan Victor Ciobanu.

On the way to the final, Azizli defeated Japanese Shinobu Ota, Egyptian Abu Halima Muhammad Al Said Abi, Finnish Mazyar Shirmohammadi and Turkish Sarif Kilic.

Another Azeri wrestler Zaur Mehraliyev gained bronze medal in the 120 kg weight category.
