Reports from Iran say the Central Bank of Iran's (CBI) website was the target of a cyber-attack that has brought down the Bank's internet, ILNA reported.
On Tuesday morning Central Bank of Iran's (CBI) website could not be accessed, according to ILNA.
Unnamed internet experts told ILNA that "a website and internal network's going offline for an extended period is a sign there was a cyber-attack against the Central Bank of Iran."
Iranian Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said on Thursday that enemies' cyber attacks on Iran have accelerated after Moscow nuclear meeting, which took place on June 18-19.
However, the minister did not confirm the attack on Iran's Central Bank website.
The CBI hasn't officially confirmed there was a new attack against its website, but on June 11 the bank's chief, Mahmoud Bahmani, said there were 250 cyber-attacks against the site in one day.
