Nizami Ganjavi honored in Poland

A poetry evening dedicated to genius Azerbaijani poet, founder of the Eastern Renaissance Nizami Ganjavi has been organized in school number of 72 named after Yashinski in Polish capital Warsaw.

Director of the school Mrs. Bozena Kazak noted the importance of the event initiated by Azerbaijan Embassy in Poland and the Society "Center of Azerbaijani Culture". Addressing the event, Ambassador Hasan Hasanov updated the participants on life and creative activity of Nizami Ganjavi and modern Azerbaijani literature and art.

Chairwoman of the Society "Center of Azerbaijani Culture" Shahla Kazimova and director of “Paradox” theatre Risard Yakubisak made speeches at the event.

Actors of Bay Puppet Theatre and pupils of the school number of 72 performed “Alexander of Macedonia `s meeting with Queen Nushaba of Barda”. A photo exhibition on Azerbaijan also was organized within the framework of the event.
