Azerbaijani Culture Days ended in Kazakhstan

The days of Azerbaijani culture came to an end in Astana. The event was held in accordance with the long-term cooperation program in the fields of culture, science and tourism between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

The event has brought together TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Askar Buribayev, Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov, as well as workers of culture and art of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Diaspora and mass media outlets.

Addressing the event, Askar Buribayev highlighted the importance of holding the days of Azerbaijani culture in Kazakhstan. The Azerbaijan`s Ambassador praised the role of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in establishing and deepening of all spheres, including culture.

He noted that this policy was successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The event featured a concert of Azerbaijani artists involving the State dance and instrumental ensembles.
