A Helicopter belonging to police of Khash town, located in Sistan and Baluchestan Province of Iran, crashed today, Fars reported. Reportedly, both the helicopter pilot and co-pilot were killed as a result of the crash. The Governor of Khash town, Ali Rza Shahraci made a statement on the occured incident.
"The incident occured at approximately 12 noon on Friday, Dec. 23. The helicopter was dispatched to a mission, and flying on low altitude it hit the wireless tower wires, as a result the crash occured," Shahraci said. Governor added that the wireless tower belonged to the IRGC (Islamic Revoutionary Guards).
