Actions dedicated to Khojaly genocide to be held in Turkey

Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey plans to organize memorial and agitation actions dedicated to the 19th anniversary of Khojaly genocide.

The Embassy in associate with Azerbaijan Medical University and Etimekut Municipality of Ankara will organize tele-conferences at the Gazi University dedicated to the memory of the genocide victims.

Several joint actions, conferences are to be arranged in other municipalities with support of the Strategic Research Center of Turkey.

Samsun, Adana and Kayseri cities will see series of actions dedicated to the anniversary of genocide with the organizational support of the Embassy and Diaspora organizations.

Local mass media will cover other actions to be held in the frame of “Justice for Khojaly” campaign aiming at recognition of the genocide as a crime against humanity.

The Embassy has prepared necessary documents to hand over to the diplomatic corps in Ankara, representatives of international organizations and media.
