Azerbaijan signed an agreement with three leading international agencies to promote Baku's application to host the Olympic Games in 2020. The documents were signed at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) 's 2020 Applicant City Seminar in Lausanne on Nov.4, the Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Ministry said.

The country signed agreements with PMPlegacy, which operates more than 20 years in the Olympic movement as an international management consulting company, Burson-Marsteller and Adore Creative, the report reads.

Particularly, Burson-Marsteller is the world's leading PR-company and has established ties with 110 countries. Adore Creative took part in the promotion of applications "Sochi-2014" at the Winter Olympic Games and the "Russia-2018" - to host the World Cup.

"We are very pleased that we secured the services of high-level agencies. These organizations are leaders in their fields. We believe they will do an excellent job for us," Head of the "Baku-2020" Organizing Committee, First Deputy Prime Minister Yaqub Eyyubov said.

"Following the attempt to host the Olympic Games in 2016, we have applied to host the Olympics-2020, and we want to show the IOC that we are keen to fight for the right to host the Olympic Games. Our economy is one of the fastest growing in the world due to our natural resources and our geographical position, allowing be an important transportation hub. We have great modern facilities throughout the city and intend to show the IOC our commitment to the Olympic Movement and tOlympic family," Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said.
