Just like Azerbaijan's national freestyle wrestling team, country's free Greco-Roman wrestling team also took first place at final stage of the Golden Grand Prix held in memory of Heydar Aliyev in Baku.

Azerbaijani national Greco-Roman wrestling team led by Olympic champion Farid Mansurov won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals taking first place among 21 countries with 67 points. Iran (48 points) and Georgia (41 points) share second and third places respectively.

Azerbaijan’s freestyle wrestling team won three gold, two silver and three bronze with 93 points followed by Georgia (64 points) and the United States (61).
