Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov has been held to a draw by Ukrainian Ruslan Ponomariov in the 8th round of an international Kings tournament in Romania, increasing his points to 4. The day's other results are as follows: Romanian Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu 1-0 Chinese Wang Yue, Norwegian Magnus Carlsen 0.5-0.5 Israeli Boris Gelfand.
After 8 rounds, Carlsen leads the table with 6 points. The ninth round will pit Rajabov against Wang Yue, while Carlsen faces Nisipeanu and Ponomariov clashes with Gelfad.
