Azerbaijan's Air and Extreme Sports Federation has become an active member of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, FAI, the world's governing body for air sports.
Founded in 1905, FAI today groups over 100 member federations which are categorized into Active, Associate, Temporary and International Affiliate.
FAI's activities include the establishment of rules for the control and certification of world aeronautical and astronautical records. The body also establishes regulations for air sporting events which are organized by its member countries throughout the world.
FAI Secretary General, Max Bishop, has sent a congratulatory message to Azerbaijan`s Air and Extreme Sports Federation.
