A strong fire occurred in the Balakan region of Azerbaijan, Emergency Situations Ministry’s Balakan Fire Protection Unit reported. The fire occurred at 02.00 on Dec. 18 in the house of Garakli village’s resident 51-year old Rafig Dibirov. The equipments and personnel of the Fire Protection Unit were involved in the site.
It was impossible to prevent the fire because information was received not in time and it was the timber house, which burnt down. Dibirov’s body was found at the house during the search. Balakan Fire Protection Unit is investigating the causes of the incident.
