Charge d`affaires of Indonesian Embassy to Azerbaijan Agus Trimartono has visited the Baku State University where he met Rector Abel Maharramov. Maharramov stressed the necessity of building cooperation between the two countries` educational centers.
Trimartono said Azerbaijan and Indonesia have good political, economic and cultural relations, saying: “It is very important to develop our cooperation in the educational sphere too.”
Maharramov said Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with Indonesia`s higher educational institutions. “We are interested in preparing experts in Indonesian language,” he added. They stressed the importance of exchanging students between the two countries, and carrying out joint scientific researches.
