Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan recovered six bodies from the earthquake wrecks in Van province of Turkey, the ministry’s website reported.

Note that, number of bodies recovered by Azerbaijani rescuers reached 60, survived persons makes 12.

7.2-magnitude hit Van province of Turkey on October 23. The epicenter was in 42 km from the city of Van. Aftershocks occurred in Diyarbakir, Batman, Sirnak, Mus, Erzrum, Bingol, Bitlios, Siirt and Mardin cities of Turkey. The quake caused large-scale devastations leaving a number of people under the wrecks.

According to the officials, 576 people were killed and more than 2,608 injured in the earthquake in Van, Turkey.
