Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society ended the aid campaign for supporting famine victims in Somali, AzRCS president, MP Novruz Aslanov said. Aslanov said USD 20 000 were donated during the campaign.
In accordance with the agreement between AzRCS and the International Society of the Red Cross, these resources were transferred to the account of the Somali Committee of the Red Cross.
AzRCS started aid campaign for the Somali famine sufferers on August 12, 2011.
