A mugham singer was arrested in Azerbaijan, Surakhani district police said.
Former participant of “Xalq Ulduzu” (People’s Star) song contest Safa Mammadov is accused of stealing 65 000 AZN from the apartment of the resident of Garachukhur settlement of Baku Elchin Yusifov. In his testimony to police, Mammadov admitted guilt.
Police launched criminal investigation into the fact. The investigation is underway.
