The NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) and Moldovan Interior Ministry’s Civil Defense and Emergency Service hold CODRII 2011 exercise in Costeşti, Moldova.
The exercise will last until September 2, 2011, the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. The exercise scenario considers the elimination of the results of simulated 7.5-magnitude quake 225 km of Chisinau.
24 members of the rescue, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear teams of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations are attending the exercise.
NATO member and partner countries, as well as representatives of the UN, EU and other international organizations joined the event.
