Georgian First Lady Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs will pay a two-day working visit to Azerbaijan on May 12.
During the visit she will hold meeting with the First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the press office of the First Lady of Georgia said.
Roelofs will visit a new medical talassemia center in Azerbaijan. She will also meet with the Azerbaijani Minister of Health Oqtay Shiraliyev together with experts from the International Committee of the Red Cross to discuss the situation regarding combating tuberculosis in prisons of Azerbaijan.
Georgian First Lady will also visit Milli Mejlis (Parliament) and meet with members of Azerbaijan-Georgia Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group. Within the visit Roelofs will visit Mstislav Rostropovich's House-Museum and Museum of Modern Art.
Roelofs will lay wreaths on Heydar Aliyev and his spouse Zarifa Aliyeva's graves. According to the press service of the First Lady of Georgia, Roelofs will hold press conference for local journalists. The First Lady will leave Baku for Georgia on May 14.
