Azerbaijan has launched preparatory work to include country’s carpet weaving arts into UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said the Azerbaijani delegation are going to raise this matter in UNESCO soon.
”A document on Azerbaijani carpet weaving will be submitted for inclusion in the UNESCO List already in 2010,” the minister said.
