South Korean TV channel KBS will broadcast a film about Azerbaijan's tourist potential.
At present, the KBS channel team is shooting the film in Azerbaijan. The team's visit is organized by Azerbaijani Embassy in South Korea.
A one-hour film will demonstrate the tourism potential and cultural and historical monuments of Azerbaijan. The film will be broadcast on Sept. 19 on KBS channel, the Azerbaijani Embassy in South Korea said.
Diplomatic representatives are taking necessary steps to make Azerbaijan's tourism popular and attract visitors to the country. In the first half of 2009 visas were issued to over 300 Korean tourists visiting Azerbaijan.
Two Korean tourism agencies "Ouitour" and "Visa Connection" have been doing business in Azerbaijan for a long time.
