Family of imprisoned journalist of the Bizim Yol newspaper Mushvig Huseynov, held in correctional facility No 2, visited the International Committee of the Red Cross, said Huseynov's wife Arzu Huseynova, Day.Az reports with reference to the Institute for Reporter Freedom and Safety.
She said they informed the organization representatives about Mushvig Husynov's complaints.
"Though my husband has been transferred to the medical center, he is not provided with medical aid to treat tuberculosis. In this connection, Mushvig Huseynov appealed to the Red Committee and chairman of the Azerbaijani Committee against Torture Elchin Behbudov", said Huseynova.
She said Huseynov is upset because his letters have not been delivered to the recipients.
During the meeting with the Red Cross representatives, Huseynova informed them about the poor state of the medical center. Huseynov asks local and international organizations to assist in the resolution of this issue.
