Azerbaijani Minister for Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov has met Public Works and Housing Minister of Turkey Faruk Nafiz Ozak today, APA reports.
The Ministers had one-on–one meeting and conducted debates with the participation of delegation.
Heydarov provided information about the activity of Ministry of Emergency Situations. The Minister focused observation of development in construction field in Azerbaijan lately. Heydarov stressed the cooperation between Azerbaijani Ministry for Emergency Situations and Turkish proper bodies.
"We cooperate with Turkish proper bodies to lift natural disasters. Turkey has big experience on elimination of the results of emergency situations. We have bought much equipment from Turkey and we are conducting negations to purchase new ones", he said.
Ozak noted that Turkey supported Azerbaijan in various fields and it would further assist Azerbaijan. The guest stressed occurrence of big opportunities for expansion of cooperation on construction.
Ozak will leave Azerbaijan tomorrow. Ozak will familiarize with the activity of the Emergency Control Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Construction Control Agency, and Civil Defense Force within the framework of the visit.
