Correspondent of Azadlyg newspaper Fikret Huseynli intends to file a claim to the court against Azercell mobile operator.

According to Novosti-Azerbaijan the plaintiff considers that owing to this mobile operator, the unknowns send abusing messages, from the telephone number of Fikret Huseynli.

A number of well-known people in Azerbaijan are added to the list of "homosexuals" in the messages sent through the last two days.

In particular, such messages were sent to cell phones of deputy Jamil Hasanly, head of Turan news agency Mehman Aliyev, chairman of the intellectuals society Eldeniz Guliyev, former editor-in-chief of Khalg Gazeti Mahal Ismailov, editor-in-chief of Yeni Musavat newspaper Rauf Arifoghlu, head of Azadlyg newspaper Azer Ahmedov and reviewer of Zerkalo newspaper Rauf Mirkadirov.

The aforementioned people made publications in press in defense of correspondent of Azadlyg newspaper Agil Halil, who was presented by five Azerbaijani TV channels as a person, who had homosexual relations.

According to Huseynli, he carried out his own investigation, appealed to the mobile company Azercell, which denies its participation in sending false messages from Huseynli.

"On March 15 of 2006, when I was attacked by criminals for my publications about construction of houses in Patamdart, I received abusing messages via Azercell.

Thus this is a second case when this company is responsible for everything. I intend to file a claim to the court and also appeal to Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov with a request to reveal cell phone terrorists", said the journalist.

According to him, the only purpose of this terror is to wage enmity between the staff of the newspaper, he works at, and the defenders of correspondent Agil Halil.
