The finals of the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship will be held in Ukraine and Poland. The decision to this effect was passed Wednesday through UEFA executive committee voting in Cardiff (UK).
Presidents Viktor Yushchenko of Ukraine and Lech Kaczynski of Poland attended the final presentation of the joint bid to host Euro-2012 finals on April 18. At the first stage of the tender Ukraine competed with Azerbaijan, Greece, Italy, Russia, Romania, Hungary - Croatia and Turkey. The decision was announced Wednesday, April 18 by UEFA President Michel Platini. NRCU
