Lawyer for lifer Dayanat Kerimov, accused of vice-speaker Afiyeddin Jalilov's assassination will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, as the appeal for commuting his punishment to 15-year imprisonment was not considered in Garadagh district court.
Rashadet Agayev, judge of Garadagh court told the APA yesterday that Kerimov's claim on commuting his life sentence to 15-year imprisonment can not be considered in the court, as case on Dayanat Kerimov was considered in the Court of Grave Crimes in September 2002. Lawyer Elman Osmanov told the APAd they will appeal to European Court of Human Rights. Dayanat Kerimov started hunger strike on March 27 and stopped the protest action being sure that Garadagh district court will consider his appeal.
