Singer's relative Igbal Guliyev told the APA Ashrafov is expected to stay in Turkey for a month.

"Baloglan Ashrafov will continue his treatment and we hope he will return to Azerbaijan in early May. But he should regularly receive medicines and take care of his health," he said.

Guliyev said that Ashrafov’s donor was released from hospital on April 5 and he will recover in eight months.

"Baloglan Ashrafov will recover in a year. He will not be able to continue his creative activity during this period," he said.

The singer was taken to Central Clinic Hospital on March 8 with cirrhosis. Later he was taken to Memorial hospital in Istanbul where he underwent surgery.
