International Boxing Tournament "Great Silk Road", which brought together 95 boxers from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, Israel, Georgia, Egypt, Bulgaria and Africa commenced March 27 in Baku Sports Palace.
The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ismayil Ismayilov, President of Azerbaijan Boxing Federation Agajan Abiyev wished the boxers success. The competition, which is held in honor of the ex-President of International Amateur Boxing Federation Anwar Choudri will be called as "Great Silk Road" since then. The competition will end March 31.
