Today trial on case of former Health Minister Ali Insanov and ten more defendants accused of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery continued in the second part of the day at Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes. The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov.
The official of Lungs Diseases Institute Asif Babayev and the official Oghuz LLC Vahid Valiyev gave testimony as case witnesses.
Defendant Maharram Musayev stressed that he bought the area situated in 43, Bulbul Street and then rented it. Another official of Health Ministry Abulfez Abdullazada confirmed his testimony to the investigation. He said that $120 000 has been spent for books. Then answering the questions of the doctor Ali Insanov noted that lab was the income of service and Finance Ministry allowed spending this money. Another defendant Dursun Ibrahimov said that Ali Insanov himself allowed him to privatize the establishment. Ibrahimov noted that he gave $50 000 for that establishment. The trial will be continued March 13, APA reports.
