The legal procedure of Akif Muradverdiyev, former officer of President's Office finished, the court stated.
The judgment of the Court of Grave Crimes was kept in force, APA reports. Muradverdiyev was sentenced to 6 years in the trial presided by the Judge of the Court of Grave Crimes Tofig Pashayev. Akif Muradverdiyev faced charges on Article 179.3.2 (embezzlement), 308.2 (abuse of power), 311 (bribing), 313 (fraud) of the Criminal Code. The investigation into the case on charges under Article 28.278 (staging coup) and 28.220 (coup attempt) of the Criminal Code continues. Akif Muradverdiyev is being cured in the medical place of Penitentiary Service.
